What We Do

Comprehensive Interior Drainage System Solutions in Oneonta, NY

We scope every Interior Drainage System job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.

Interior Drainage

Perimeter Drain Tile Installation

A channel is cut along the slab edge, perforated pipe is laid with proper slope, and gravel backfill allows water to flow freely into the drain.

Interior Drainage

Sump Basin Tie-In

Basin placement is chosen for the shortest, most direct discharge path away from the foundation.

Interior Drainage

Baseboard Drainage Channel Systems

For finished basements where cutting the slab isn't practical, a baseboard channel system captures wall seepage without disturbing existing flooring.

Interior Drainage

Cove Joint Sealing & Drain Tie-In

The cove joint where wall meets floor is sealed and tied directly into the drain system so water is captured right at the entry point.

Interior Drainage

Drain Tile Cleaning & Repair

We camera-inspect old systems where accessible to determine whether repair or replacement makes more financial sense.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Interior Drainage System

Do I need drain tile around the entire perimeter?▼

Not always — if water is only entering along one wall, a targeted section can be enough, which we determine from inspection findings.

What's the difference between drain tile and a baseboard channel system?▼

Drain tile requires cutting the slab; a baseboard channel is a lower-disruption alternative that captures wall seepage without floor demolition.

Can you repair existing drain tile instead of replacing it?▼

{Sometimes — if the pipe itself is intact but clogged with silt, cleaning can restore function without a full re-installation.|We camera-inspect where accessible to make that determination before recommending replacement.}

How is my sump basin sized for the drain system?▼

Basin size is based on expected water inflow from the drain tile's linear footage and your Oneonta, NY area's typical rainfall intensity.

Will installing drain tile disrupt my finished basement?▼

If disruption is a major concern, we can discuss the baseboard channel alternative instead.

How long does interior drainage installation take?▼

Most residential installs finish in one to three days depending on perimeter length and whether cove joint sealing is included.
